Work

I’m a design and product leader who works beyond the interface—connecting strategy, systems, technology, operations, and craft to build new forms of value.

Design Product Strategy Leadership

I combine design, strategy, product thinking, and leadership to build products, businesses, teams, and systems that are opinionated, useful, and deeply human.

I’m a design and product leader with a foundation in experience design, interface design, product strategy, front-end development, and team building. Over the past decade, I’ve worked across healthcare, media, fitness, and technology—often joining at moments when the product, organization, or category itself still needed to be defined.

In one word, I’m a builder. I work beyond the interface, connecting the decisions, systems, operations, technology, and craft required to make an experience actually work. This page is a chronological story of that work.

Harbor Health

2025—Present · Head of Member Experience & Design

I lead Member Experience & Design for Harbor Health, a Texas-based health plan and medical group with more than 40 clinics and 150 clinicians across Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and El Paso.

Harbor is working to prove that American healthcare can work better for people by combining proactive care, innovative benefit design, clinical delivery, and insurance into a more coherent system. My role spans member-facing products, care experiences, service operations, communications, physical clinics, and the systems that connect them.

The work asks a larger question than how an interface should look: how should product, care, service, operations, technology, and policy come together so that members can actually resolve what matters to them?

Photon Health

2023—2025 · Head of Design & Marketplace Product

I joined Photon Health as its first design hire and eventually led design and marketplace product, helping build a patient-first prescription marketplace.

I designed across nearly every surface of the company: the prescribing application used by clinicians, internal tools used by human and AI agents, the consumer experience for comparing prices and routing prescriptions, pharmacy communications, and the operational details that allow millions of prescriptions to move through the system.

I helped Photon establish product-market fit in virtual care, move upmarket, and expand its footprint after its next round of financing. I also worked on partnerships across mail-order pharmacy, discount cards, pharmaceutical companies, and health technology platforms, including work with Amazon Pharmacy.

Brand and category building

I led a multi-month rebrand that gave Photon a distinct identity within healthcare while preserving its roots as a disruptive technology company with a strong consumer sensibility. The work included a new identity, marketing website, product expression, and experiential moments.

At HLTH in Las Vegas, we built a Blockbuster-inspired booth with a living room hidden inside. It became a physical metaphor for how prescriptions work today versus how they should work—and a way to start a more meaningful conversation about why healthcare remains stuck in the past.

Balanced

2022—2023 · Founding Product Designer → Head of Product & Design · Acquired

I was the founding product designer and later Head of Product & Design for Balanced, an online fitness platform for healthier aging.

I redesigned the foundations of the consumer application through research with current and prospective members, then introduced improved onboarding, recommendations, and habit-forming experiences.

As the product and design lead, I brought together product, design, data, operations, and engineering around a clearer path to product-market fit. I also helped launch partnerships with major payers, making a modern fitness experience available to thousands of adults aged 55 and older.

Feel Eternity

2021—Present · Founder & Principal

I founded Feel Eternity as an independent strategy and experience design practice.

I work with founders and executives on consequential new ventures—helping frame the opportunity, understand the people and systems involved, align the organization, shape the product and service strategy, and build the first expression of the idea.

The practice has increasingly focused on healthcare resolution systems: connecting human needs to the product, care, service, operations, and technology required to meet them.

Thirty Madison

2021—2022 · Principal Design Architect → Group Design Manager

I joined Thirty Madison through Feel Eternity and later returned full-time, working with the Launch organization to create a centralized product system and mobile foundation for a growing portfolio of healthcare brands.

I helped define Central App: a multi-brand design and front-end architecture intended to support new conditions, products, and business models without rebuilding the underlying experience each time.

The work included a shared component system, design tokens, end-to-end consumer journeys, and the operating model required to connect dozens of microfrontends and services. I helped build early brands on that foundation, including Facet, and led design across multiple launch and mobile teams.

Cove by Thirty Madison

2020—2021 · First In-house Product Designer & Design Manager

At Cove, Thirty Madison’s migraine care brand, I led product design across conversion, retention, partnerships, and the patient journey.

I designed experiences such as Build Your Plan, recommendation and onboarding flows, the online medical consultation, recurring patient check-ins, and partner integrations. I also modernized the design system, improved the design-to-engineering workflow through tools such as Storybook and design QA, and established design planning and team practices.

Condé Nast

2016—2019 · Product Designer → Senior Designer → Verso Design Lead

At Condé Nast, I designed products and new businesses across some of the world’s most influential media brands, including GQ, Architectural Digest, Golf Digest, BRIDES, Teen Vogue, Allure, and others.

I helped create Verso, the company’s global design system, and worked across product strategy, experience design, front-end systems, subscriptions, commerce, editorial storytelling, and team leadership.

Verso and platform systems

I led the Verso design system team, shaping system-wide and brand-specific work while helping the organization decide where and how to deploy design resources. Earlier, I helped define more than 40 discovery components and over 120 variations for use across Condé Nast’s global websites, including the rules for styling, responsive behavior, aspect ratios, templates, and CMS logic.

I also designed the first internal documentation and pattern-library experience for the system and created journey frameworks that helped teams connect audience behavior to Condé Nast’s publishing and business models.

New subscription businesses

I helped create AD Pro, a paid professional publication for the interior design industry. I designed purchase flows, content experiences, system components, and account-management patterns, while leading the front-end delivery roadmap and CMS logic.

I also worked on Golf Digest Schools, a subscription video-instruction business. After months of strategy, research, design, and prototyping, the product launched as a meaningful new revenue stream for the brand.

Editorial product innovation

For GQ, I helped redesign photo galleries and related storytelling products. The resulting experience increased completion rates by 100%, click-through by 45%, and new revenue by 14%, while creating new sponsorship models for luxury advertisers.

The project became a foundation for product and photography galleries across Condé Nast. Other work included the GQ Best Stuff commerce newsletter, Golf World and The Loop, and the BRIDES inspiration experience that helped seed the platform thinking behind Verso.

Apploi

2015—2016 · Product Designer

At Apploi, I designed consumer and enterprise products that helped companies hire hourly workers.

I worked on a major redesign of the hiring-manager application, a new end-to-end online application system, and a location-aware mobile experience that helped applicants discover relevant jobs, understand commute time, and apply using an existing profile and résumé.

Bespoke

2014—2015 · Product & Design Associate

I worked on Bespoke, a mobile product that helped creative professionals discover, save, and share inspiration. The role helped deepen my experience in mobile product design and the relationship between editorial curation, personal collections, and creative practice.

Freelance Designer

2008—2013 · Independent

I began my career working across brand identity, print, websites, advertising, marketing campaigns, blogs, email, and early software interfaces.

This was before “product designer” became a widely used title. I learned to move between visual design, code, communication, and product thinking—and to carry work from a blank page through implementation. The range, repetition, and curiosity of those years became the foundation for everything that followed.

Postscript

These are only some of the projects, teams, and initiatives that shaped my career. I’m grateful to the people who gave me a chance, the people I worked alongside, and the people I had the privilege to lead. The work is never produced alone.
